Mac

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag PolyWasp to Applications.
  2. Open it from Applications. The first time, macOS says it can't verify the developer: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to PolyWasp. You only do this once.
  3. Follow the first-run steps: log in or continue free, then add your Polymarket US API key.

Requires macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon.

Windows

  1. Unzip the download anywhere, for example your Documents folder.
  2. Run PolyWasp.exe. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Follow the first-run steps: log in or continue free, then add your Polymarket US API key.

Requires Windows 10 or 11 with Edge WebView2 (installed on nearly every PC).

Your Polymarket US API key

PolyWasp needs it even for paper trading, because Polymarket only serves live prices to signed requests. Create one at polymarket.us/developer. The key is checked against Polymarket, saved only on your computer, and never sent to PolyWasp. Anyone with your key can trade your account, so keep it private.
